Saying not to pay attention to the Gazzetta di Venezia because the article is really a complete lie, that because he is not promoting one of its protégés, Wolf-Ferrari, they took vengeance on Tirindelli, adding that should Fano want a correspondent in Venice he will send some articles as a guide, saying that the program was [Beethoven's] Fidelio Overture, Symphony in E♭ by Mozart, Tragicommedia by Tirindelli, Abendlied by Schumann, Scherzo by Cherubini, and the Marche Slave by Tchaikovsky.
